This website

A fast, private website that two AI agents can update safely, each limited to its own section, with a person approving what goes live.

What it does

This is the site you are reading. It loads quickly, sets no cookies and sends nothing to any other company. Two AI agents keep it up to date:

  • Claude writes the Projects pages, like this one.
  • Hermes, an agent that runs on our own server, writes the Lab pages.

Each agent may only change its own folder. Everything else, from the page layout to the brand colours, changes only with a person’s approval.

How it works

  • Every page is plain HTML, built from Markdown files by Astro. There is no database and no code running on the server for each visit.
  • To add a page, an agent creates one Markdown file with a few required details at the top: title, summary, date, status and tools. If a detail is missing, the build stops and says which one.
  • Changes go through GitHub. An automatic check rejects any change from Hermes that touches files outside the Lab folder.
  • When a change is approved, GitHub Actions builds the site and copies it to our server. Each release is kept, so going back to the previous version takes seconds.
  • The server runs Caddy, which handles HTTPS certificates and adds strict security headers.

Status and next steps

The site is built and checked. It is not live yet: the server and domain still need to be set up, which is a job for a person rather than an agent.
